WELCOME TO THE 43rd ANNUAL DRISCOLL’S STRAWBERRY CLASSIC RACE!

The Tampa Bay Runners are thrilled to be presenting the 43rd Annual Driscoll’s Strawberry Classic Race on Saturday, March 23, 2024!   We are looking forward to presenting you with a truly wonderful experience as we welcome all our runners, old and new, back to our Temple Terrace community.

As in the past, the race has several options:  There is the 5k (3 mile) race, the 10k (6 mile) race and the 15k (6 mile + 3 mile) challenge race.  Another option is the Fun Run (1 mile) which is especially suited for our youngest runners and our adults who may want to run with their young ones or walk the beautiful course themselves.  You can choose to do 1 or all of the races.  The first race (10k) begins promptly at 7:00am.  The 5k begins at 8:30am.  Finally, the Fun Run begins at 9:00am.  In order to fully enjoy the 15k challenge with your fellow runners, you should be confident that you can complete the 10k before 8:30am which is the start of the 5k.  There are medals given for all races so many opportunities to leave with LOTS of hardware!  Due to changes in the parking areas from previous years, we do ask that you try to carpool if possible and to arrive in time to do your race to avoid possible congestion. 

For those who are unable to make it to the live event, we have a Virtual option.  This allows you to select your own time and place to do your race and we will mail you all of your race package items (medals, bib and race shirt).  Just select the virtual option on the registration site and pick the race you would like to do. 

The Registration site has a useful feature for you to check to confirm you are registered for the event and which race you have signed up for.  This way you can let us know if there are any issues with your registration.

The race will have music, awards, exhibitors, snacks and (of course) delicious Driscoll’s STRAWBERRIES!  That is the best incentive to make it out to do this race.  On top of all of this, know that your race fee is benefiting our wonderful charities Children’s Dream Fund and Meals on Wheels of Tampa.
